After a two-quarter period of decline in coronavirus cases, there has been a significant increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Afghanistan in the past few days. The Ministry of Public Health announced that the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country reached 48,753 with the registration of 213 new cases overnight.
Accordingly, 213 people have been infected with corona in Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Balkh, Nangarhar, Paktia, Bamyan, Baghlan, Parwan, Nimroz, Daikundi, Logar, Helmand, Laghman, Ghor, Kunar, Kapisa and Zabul provinces.
The number of people recovering from the coronavirus in Afghanistan has also increased to another 38,211 overnight with the virus recovering to another 71 people.
The number of victims of the disease in Afghanistan has reached 939 with the death of 18 other patients.
