Religious Scholars in Balkh Called for the Reopening of Girls’ Schools
Religious scholars in Balkh have called on the Taliban to reopen the gates of secondary and high schools to girls.
A large meeting was held in this regard to reopen the schools in Abuzar Ghaffari Dar- ul-Ulum.
Mahboub al-Haq Makhdoomzada said they raised their voices from the pulpit because of the girls’ education, which he said Islam has given the right of educaton for girls.
The Taliban closed the gates of high schools and high schools to girls at the beginning of the school year, hours after they reopened. The closure of girls’ schools’ upper the sixth grade in the country, in addition to global reactions, has also led to other domestic reactions
