Officials at the Ministry of Public Health say that in the past 24 hours, 56 positive cases of coronavirus have been registered in the laboratories of Kabul and Herat provinces.

Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, told the media that in the past 24 hours, 56 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered and the number of infected people have increased. Totally the number of affected people have become in 423 people.
Spokesman of Ministry of Public Health added that 56 new cases including 27 cases are in Herat, 12 cases in Kabul, 10 cases in Kandahar, 5 cases in Balkh and 2 cases in Nangarhar provinces are registered.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rafiq Shirzai, spokesman of Herat Public Health Presidency, told the media that in the past 24 hours 140 suspicious samples had been tested in Herat Province which 27 cases including 21 men and 6 women has registered positive.
Spokesman of Herat public health presidency said, that 257 cases of coronavirus had been reported in that province which includes 179 men and 78 women.
According to the Ministry of Public Health report, 11 people have died because of coronavirus, and 18 people have recovered in the country.
