The Indian Foreign Minister today (Wednesday, February, 9, 2022) in a tweet called the talks with his Qatari counterpart constructive.
He added that global and regional developments, including Afghanistan, were exchanged between the two sides.
The Qatari foreign minister also tweeted that he had had constructive talks with India on regional developments and issues of interest.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries also laid the foundation stone for the new Assembly of the Indian Embassy in Doha.
Qatar is one of the Arab countries that hosted the Afghanistan peace talks and has close relations with Pakistan, India’s longtime rival.
