Return and transfer of hundreds of migrants from Torkham, Spin Boldak and Nimroz crossings

The Refugee Issues Commission has announced that dozens of refugee families have entered Afghanistan through different border routes and a number of them have been transferred to different provinces of the country.
According to the commission’s report, 85 families including 400 people have entered Afghanistan through the Torkham crossing and 80 families including 424 people have been transferred to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul provinces. 323,470 Afghanis have been spent on the transfer of these families.
In Torkham, 119 families have received a total of 976,000 Afghanis in cash assistance. Health and telecommunication services have also been provided to the returnees in the Omari camp.
Meanwhile, seven families including 30 people have entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar and eight families including 37 people have been transferred to different provinces. 59,200 Afghanis have been paid for the transfer of these families.
According to the Refugee Affairs Commission, seven families in Spin Boldak have received 46,000 Afghanis in cash assistance, and food, health, and telecommunication services have also been provided to returnees in this area.
On the other hand, 39 families, including 151 people, have entered Afghanistan via the Silk Bridge route in Nimroz. 472 passengers have also returned to the country via this route.
In Islam Qala, Herat, six families, including 29 people, have also entered Afghanistan, and a total of 48,000 Afghanis in cash assistance have been allocated for them.
In addition, the Transfer and Transportation Committee in Kabul has transferred 9 families, including 43 people, to different provinces and paid 64,000 Afghanis for their transfer fare.
