Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Foundation distributes dates to repatriated migrants

Today, Tuesday, 18th of February 1404, the King Salman Charity Foundation, in cooperation with the Al-Noor Foundation and the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates, distributed 64 tons of dates to refugees returned from different countries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The King Salman Foundation for Relief and Humanitarian Work has also distributed hundreds of food packages in other provinces of the country. This aid has been allocated to families who have returned to the country, the needy, and the displaced.
Representatives of the King Salman Foundation, officials from the Al-Noor Foundation, government officials, and representatives of needy families attended the date distribution ceremony at the northern house in the refugee camp.
Maulvi Mahmoud-ul-Haq Ahadi, Head of Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates, said: Families who have recently returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan are the priority recipients of this aid. According to him, this program will also be implemented in several provinces of the country and a large number of families will benefit from it. He also called on other national and international institutions to help the refugees.
Hamidullah Mohammadi, head of the Al-Nour Foundation, said that this aid is distributed under the supervision of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates.
He appreciated the aid provided by the King Salman Foundation and Saudi Arabia to refugees in these difficult circumstances and said that he hopes that this aid will continue. He said that in addition to this aid, the Silab Foundation has also distributed footwear to the refugees.
According to the explanation provided by the foundation, the distribution of these food items is part of the relief efforts of the King of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center to help the people of Afghanistan and reduce their suffering.
The King Salman Foundation for Relief and Humanitarian Work has previously taken an active part in providing aid to Afghan citizens, including in areas affected by the earthquake in Kunar province.
