Amiri: The members of the Doha meeting agreed on the importance of the rights of women and girls
Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghan women’s affairs, says that all the members of the Doha meeting have agreed on the importance of the rights of women and girls.
According to the News Agency of Events; Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghan women, wrote on her Twitter page yesterday (Thurs 13) that the Doha meeting was held in support of an inclusive, peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
He wrote that many members of the meeting, while enumerating the necessity of interaction with the caretaker government, emphasized the existence of efforts and processes to interact with other Afghans, especially women, inside and outside of this country.
On May 1 and 2 this year, the United Nations held a meeting on the situation in Afghanistan in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
