Qari Wali Gul Jawad, the head of the Cultural Department of Kabul Municipality, said: I do not think that in any country, one and a half million dollars would be spent on sports and provide them to the youth in the best place and with more facilities. He said that such gyms protect young people from many diseases. He said that Kabul Municipality supports such youth and athletes who serve the country and the youth.
Javed Rahimi, the head and trainer of the Sky Power Gym Complex, said: This gym is active in the service of young people with the best sports equipment in two shifts from 5 to 10 pm, and in this gym, we have considered the sports equipment according to the demands of athletes. He assured that the appropriate fee for the gym is 1500, the fee for our fitness section is 2000, which has a capacity of approximately 200 people in this gym at one time. He said that I want young people to exercise to stay healthy and stay away from addiction.
Ahmad Wali Hotak, the champion of freestyle wrestling in the country, also asked young people to turn to sports for their health, as sports guarantee human health and well-being. He said that sports increase the hormones of happiness in humans.
Hotak said that in a country where there is little exercise, there are many doctors, and when a patient visits a doctor, the first advice the doctor gives is to exercise, so instead of turning to drugs, young people should exercise to live a healthy and safe life.
However, officials of the Islamic Emirate government say that they support athletes and are trying to help them shine on the world stage and earn a name for Afghanistan
