Yan McCarey Dicker Became the Charge Affaires of the US Embassy in Afghanistan.

Ian McCree, the ambassador of the US Embassy in Afghanistan, announced the end of his mission in Afghanistan on Sunday evening in a series of tweets. He has announced that Karen Dicker has been appointed as the new charge d’affaires of the US Embassy in Afghanistan.

Yan McCree started working as the US Charge Affaires in Afghanistan in August 2021.

Introducing Kern Dicker as the new charge d’affaires of the US Embassy in Afghanistan, he said: “Our commitment to the people of Afghanistan will not be weakened under the leadership of Kern Dicker, who is my successor.” McCree has stated that during the last year in Doha, he discussed various issues with the Taliban and after August 15 of last year, they provided 775 million dollars in humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that before this Mrs. Keren Decker served as the deputy ambassador of the United States of America in Kabul between 2018 and 2020.

Ms.Keren Dicker is currently working as the head of operational program for the process of evacuation and resettlement of Afghans. From September 2018 to September 2020, he also worked as the deputy of the American Embassy in Kabul. He specializes in conflict resolution and crisis
